Cable spring buffer
Cable spring buffer
Cable spring buffer made of Cell-VU are used as rope length compensation in elevator construction for cabs and counterweights. Depending on the requirement and desired path 1-3 buffers can be arranged one above the other. It is essential to ensure that between the individual springs discs are attached to prevent buckling. The force absorption in the standard hardness is up to max. 4 N / mm² possible. The preload is max. 8 mm for all springs that are 28 mm high, with or without collar. For the springs 4017 (Art.-No .: 315009 and 315015) it is 4.5 mm. With several cable springs, the preload increases accordingly. Cable spring buffers made of ETN-Cell-VU are characterized by excellent damping properties, large suspension travel with low overall height and transverse strain and almost 100% resilience after load. The assembly is easy. The ringing of the ropes is significantly reduced compared to steel springs.
