Insert EK 6 PEE, for HSMK + WSMK, for rail 6 mm, 100 x 20 x 30 mm, ETN-HM-1000-E, surface resistivity 10^7 Ohm (DIN IEC 60093)
The friction of moving parts may cause big differences of potential. Arising voltage punctures might lead to an ignition of flammable substances. This could cause serious consequences in explosion-proof areas (e.g. chemical, mining, paint industry). To protect against electrostatic discharges (ESD), rapid discharges should be avoided. Below listed materials are conform to the protection category „conductive“ (surface resistance between 100 Ohm and 100 kOhm) and
„static dissipating“ (surface resistance between 100 kOhm and 100 GOhm).
Guide inserts out of ETN®-HM -1000-E have antistatic agents
and are characterized by a special surface resistance of
about 107 Ohm (DIN IEC 60093). Therefore the material is electrically
conductive and does not pick up static charging.
