PU (polyurethane) offers very good damping, PA (polyamide) higher load capacity and PE (high-molecular-weight high-density polyethylene) the best sliding properties as well as high wear resistance - even without lubrication. The optimum choice of material depends on the application and the load. Our ETN team will be happy to advise you.
Thanks to their special combination of materials, PEPU inserts provide particularly good vibration and noise damping. At certain frequencies, they achieve a better damping effect than PEC and PECU inserts. The insulated retaining studs interrupt the sound bridge between the cabin/counterweight and the rail. This contributes to a quieter ride of the lift installation. PEPU inserts are therefore particularly suitable for applications where ride comfort and noise reduction are the priority.
