PU (polyurethane) offers very good damping, PA (polyamide) higher load capacity and PE (high-molecular-weight high-density polyethylene) the best sliding properties as well as high wear resistance - even without lubrication. Thanks to their special combination of materials, PEPU inserts provide particularly good vibration and noise damping. At certain frequencies, they achieve a better damping effect than PEC and PECU inserts. The insulated retaining studs interrupt the sound bridge between the cabin/counterweight and the rail. This contributes to a quieter ride of the lift installation. PEPU inserts are therefore particularly suitable for applications where ride comfort and noise reduction are the priority.
